PEB: from Globo liaison to backstage spokesperson

Five editions of Brazil's biggest esports awards. I started as the link between Player1 and Globo and ended up running the press room, on the curation board and speaking to the community.

Context

An awards show lives by its calendar: nominees, voting, finalists, ceremony. With each edition my role went up a step, from real-time coverage to content planning, from data to press strategy, all the way to listening to the community and bringing that feedback to management.

What I did

  • In the first two editions, point of contact between Player1 and Globo: real-time coverage, briefing TV reporters on the winners and airtime for interviews and video packages
  • Content planning, production and data in the following editions
  • PEB curation in the last three editions, stepping in on Superjury decisions that went against the rules
  • Superjury meeting and press dynamics at the in-person moments
  • Production of the nominees and finalists live shows and the second screen
  • In 2025: PR strategy, an on-site press room and the role of backstage spokesperson, connecting management and community
  • In 2025: editorial planning for social media and LinkedIn, real-time coverage on ge done solo and the script for the Nominees and Finalists Live
  • Content with spokespeople Nyvi Estephan, CamilotaXP and Mari Ayrez
